JimJim  Tavares  Director        Extension 3  

Jim has been the Director of Lindley G . Cook 4-H Camp since December of 2001. He started working for 4-H Camps in Upstate New York in 1984 and has been working in them ever since. He also has a over 10 1/2 years of Outdoor Environmental Education experiences from 5 different centers.

 

Brian

Brian Dougan Program Director      Extension 2

Brian is the newest member of staff and has a Bachelor's of Fine Arts from Long Island University. He has a variety of residential camp experiences, including serving as an Environmental Educator and Assistant Director of a summer residential camp at Frost Valley YMCA Environmental Education Center and being a counselor/teacher of the Eckerd Youth Alternatives program. He also has 4-H camping experience!

 

DianeDiane Diovisalvo   Secretary /Registrar       Extension 1

Diane is the first person you may talk to when booking a group or enrolling a camper into our summer program. She is a wealth of knowledge and has been a cornerstone of the organization for many years. Most groups know her by name, and have built a great rapport with her over the years.

Lindley G. Cook 4-H Youth Center for Outdoor Education provides youth and adults with a safe environment for fun, hands-on residential outdoor educational experiences; fostering independence, leadership development, respect, tolerance and positive self-esteem. This is accomplished under the guidelines of 4-H and Rutgers Cooperative Extension principles and missions.
